Tongue Color: Blue (Looks like a human's tongue)
Personality:
Andy likes two things in life. Sex and weapons. She has no qualms with using both to get what she wants from people. She carries three weapons on her at all times: A dagger in her cleavage, a gun in her boot, and a gun on the inside of her thigh that can fold up. (NO IT IS NOT AN ALIEN DICK!
) She makes friends, but sometimes feels that her weapons are her only true friends. She used to sell them and generally knows just about everything there is to know about any weapon she can get her hands on.
History:
Andy was born in a hatchery from a large, leathery egg. She was assigned to her family. She was the older of two girls.
When she was a teenager, she started to get into weapons. She ran away from home after her parents found out and tried to put a stop to it. She began smuggling weapons.
Species Name: Orinu
Biological Information: Every Orinu has four slender tentacles extending from their knuckles on each hand. These tentacles allow them to be touch-telepaths of sorts, but they can only sense very strong desires, and even then sometimes it’s guess work. The tentacles sometimes have a mind of their own, it seems, because when left alone they tend to either go exploring or wrap around the nearest appendage they can find.
Most of the females and some males have a genetic disorder that causes them to have very weak heels. As a result, they walk on their toes often. Some have designed shoes for them to wear, high-heels to make their walking more comfortable.
Average Physical Information: Most of the Orinu have very dark skin because of the bright sun that beats down on them for 23 of the 28 hours in their day cycle. The colors range from dark purple, dark blue, dark red, and black generally. It helps them to keep their skin from burning. As a result, they are used to warmer temperatures and do not do well in cold. They also are very used to brightness, and adjusting to a dimly-lit area takes more time for them than it does for most others. Their eyes are also dark, but have color in just the right light. Their eyes tend to be dark blue, dark red, dark purple, dark green, and orange. They have hair that most keep fairly short, but their hair can be any number of colors, not limited to the colors their skin and eyes are.
A "albino" Orinu has light pink skin and eyes and silver-white hair.
Customs and Society: The society is fairly militant. As a result they have a treaty with the Irkens that keeps both armadas from turning their weapons on each other and aiming at other people. Those who are not in the military tend to grow food for the army.
The procreation cycle is an odd one. The women have eggs inside them that are fertilized by the males in the womb. Then the leathery eggs are expelled after two months and spend two more months in the hatchery. When they are born, they are assigned to a family. It gives everyone an equal opportunity, no matter who their original mother and father was.
When the females do not have the eggs fertilized, the egg shells come out in a six-month cycle which is left out and withers in the sunlight, which in turn is used for growing food.
